Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements review, software design, implementation, unit testing, and integration testing across the software development lifecycle.
- Work with managers and mentors to complete identified internship projects.
- Present project conclusions to senior leadership.
- Create documentation required by the Smith+Nephew Robotics Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project deadlines and multiple tasks, and develop solutions to technical issues.
Requirements
- Must be currently matriculated or within one year of matriculation at an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Must be in excellent academic standing; a minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Previous applicable internship, co-op, part-time, or apprenticeship experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of C++ and other object-oriented languages is preferred.
- Ability to describe designs using UML is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, technical writing, listening, teamwork, leadership, organization, and time-management skills are required or preferred.
