Responsibilities
- Work with managers and mentors to complete assigned internship projects.
- Participate in software requirements review, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Present project conclusions to senior leadership.
- Create documentation required by the Smith+Nephew Robotics Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive project completion while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Requirements
- Be currently matriculated or within one year of matriculation in an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Maintain excellent academic standing; a minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Knowledge of C++ and other object-oriented languages is preferred.
- Ability to describe software design using UML is preferred.
- Analytical problem-solving ability, strong communication and technical writing skills, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills are required.
- Previous applicable internship, co-op, part-time, or apprenticeship experience is preferred.
