Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own major features end-to-end from architecture decisions through production release
- Build reliable and performant systems for core legal workflows using Python/Django, React, and AWS
- Ship AI-powered functionality that makes legal complexity usable for law firms
- Collaborate directly with product, operations, and design to define product priorities
- Help shape the technical team’s culture, standards, and practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building reliable, secure software in production
- Full-stack experience across frontend and backend development
- Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrably fast ability to learn new technology stacks
- Track record of writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Experience with Django, AWS, or OpenAI APIs is preferred
- Early-stage startup experience establishing engineering standards is preferred
- Familiarity with legal technology, document processing, or data-heavy workflows is preferred
