Responsibilities
- Write and execute test cases for demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP, reporting, analytics, and end-to-end business processes.
- Perform system integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance support, and post-deployment validation testing.
- Validate Anaplan models, Blue Yonder ESP solver outputs, planning calculations, business rules, data flows, access controls, and configuration changes.
- Execute SQL queries and data comparisons to validate demand feeds, BOMs, master data, supply signals, and inbound and outbound integrations.
- Test API-based integrations, scheduled data loads, file-based interfaces, and reconciliation between planning and connected systems.
- Report defects and maintain test cases, test results, release notes, test evidence, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with model builders, developers, architects, data engineering teams, and business planning users.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and continuous improvement of QA processes, templates, and test coverage.
- Support production validation during forecast runs, month-end activities, and S&OP cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, computer science, business, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in QA testing, preferably with enterprise applications or supply chain systems.
- Experience executing functional and regression test cases and understanding of integration testing and data reconciliation.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Basic understanding of forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, across time zones, and under short deadlines.
- Preferred exposure to Anaplan, Blue Yonder/JDA, solver-based planning, ERP-integrated systems such as SAP or Oracle, APIs, and file-based integrations.
