Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases and regression suites using Playwright, VeriFix, and the organization’s automation framework.
- Lead functional, regression, UAT, integration, and performance testing across financial and trading applications.
- Create automation strategies, convert manual regression cases into automated scripts, and promote QA and automation best practices.
- Report, track, and manage software defects and testing activities throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Support release validation, environment support, application version upgrades, and release management activities.
- Act as an SME, make team decisions, mentor junior team members, and coordinate cross-functional quality activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required, including experience with VeriFix, FIX Protocol, market data, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in Playwright, VeriFix, FIX Protocol, Jira, and test case management tools.
- Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol and experience with FIX-based trading applications.
- Experience designing automated test scripts, maintaining regression automation, and working with continuous integration pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, QA processes, defect troubleshooting, and automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment banking, and trading platforms.
- Preferred experience with HP UFT, UAT, performance testing, regression testing, fixed income and derivatives products, release management, and application upgrades.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
