Responsibilities
- Lead and govern requirements analysis and software design activities for assigned software components.
- Partner with product owners, developers, and architects to create accurate design documentation aligned with architectural guidance.
- Identify and prioritize design deficiencies and lead actionable remediation plans.
- Provide design decisions and guidance to unblock development teams while monitoring architectural compliance.
- Identify inconsistencies in patterns, technologies, tools, and best practices and coordinate plans to resolve them.
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to engineering team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Technology and 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Advanced experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, component-driven architecture, NgRx state management, and micro-frontend strategies.
- Advanced experience with Angular CLI, Webpack, ESBuild, and automated testing frameworks including Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Advanced knowledge of software design, design patterns, architecture patterns, quality attributes, and software modeling across information, process, state, security, and logical and physical architecture views.
- Experience applying frontend performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, change detection strategies, Core Web Vitals, and WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Experience with two or more technology stacks and leading cross-functional design discussions is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder influence, mentoring, collaboration, negotiation, and external partner or customer engagement skills are preferred.
