Responsibilities

Design, code, and maintain automated test suites aligned with feature development.
Create test cases from functional and technical designs to identify code deficiencies.
Collaborate with engineers to improve feature testability and review peer engineering work.
Serve as the technical owner of the test automation framework.
Evaluate and prototype testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
Improve regression cycle times, automation effectiveness, and execution performance.
Support test data management and test automation initiatives.
Lead knowledge sharing and best practices within the Quality Engineering Guild.
Participate in Scrum planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Analysis roles.
Demonstrated programming and automation engineering capability.
Strong understanding of software development best practices and quality engineering methodologies, tools, and standards.
Deep knowledge of test automation design patterns such as Page Object Model.
Ability to review, understand, and contribute to technical designs.
Advanced experience with Selenium and Java, WebDriver, Playwright and JavaScript, JUnit, or TestNG.
Experience testing large, heterogeneous systems end-to-end.
Knowledge of test reporting and management tools such as Allure and TestRail.
Experience building and maintaining UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative development workflows.
Strong written and verbal communication of testing strategies and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Work on leading e-commerce platforms across multiple iconic Williams-Sonoma brands.
Contribute to global technology capabilities from the India Technology Center.
Help drive innovation across e-commerce, supply chain, and customer experience platforms.
