Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and services.
  • Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar tools to provision and manage cloud resources.
  • Integrate security controls and secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Deploy and operate containerized workloads and cloud-native data pipelines.
  • Implement cloud security controls, identity management, and access policies.
  • Support vulnerability management, remediation, secure configuration, and compliance practices.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security posture across environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, cybersecurity stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on scalable and resilient system designs.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and system configurations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform or similar tools.
  • Experience with containerized environments, including Docker and Helm.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
  • Experience with cloud networking, identity and access management, and multi-region deployments.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management and secure configuration practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required, or candidates must be able to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Department of War clearance with TS/SCI eligibility are required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud services experience, Google Cloud certifications, high-throughput or data-intensive platform experience, security scanning and compliance automation, API management, regulated federal environments, RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, and classified or high-security systems.
