Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and services.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar tools to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Integrate security controls and secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads and cloud-native data pipelines.
- Implement cloud security controls, identity management, and access policies.
- Support vulnerability management, remediation, secure configuration, and compliance practices.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security posture across environments.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, cybersecurity stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on scalable and resilient system designs.
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and system configurations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience with containerized environments, including Docker and Helm.
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
- Experience with cloud networking, identity and access management, and multi-region deployments.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and secure configuration practices.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience working with Linux-based systems.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required, or candidates must be able to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Department of War clearance with TS/SCI eligibility are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud services experience, Google Cloud certifications, high-throughput or data-intensive platform experience, security scanning and compliance automation, API management, regulated federal environments, RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, and classified or high-security systems.
