Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, secure, and maintain AI application environments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Adapt containerized applications and supporting services for secured and hardened OCI environments.
- Design and implement OCI networking, including VCNs, private subnets, routing, NSGs, private endpoints, DNS, and enterprise connectivity.
- Implement IAM, authentication, authorization, service identities, secrets, certificates, encryption, and least-privilege controls.
- Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes/OKE, and OCI Container Registry.
- Secure integrations between AI applications, LLMs, APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and AI tool frameworks.
- Develop Terraform infrastructure modules and deployment templates for repeatable and auditable cloud environments.
- Integrate deployments with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, security scanning, artifact management, and release processes.
- Configure logging, monitoring, audit trails, metrics, alerts, and operational dashboards.
- Troubleshoot application, cloud, container, networking, IAM, certificate, API, and service-connectivity issues.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams on hardening, vulnerability remediation, access restrictions, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Create reusable platform standards, security patterns, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, application infrastructure, or related enterprise engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking, compute, IAM, storage, security, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity and access management, authentication, authorization, secrets management, certificates, encryption, and least-privilege access.
- Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes/OKE or comparable technologies.
- Experience with web application architectures, application configuration, APIs, services, infrastructure interactions, and security-related deployment changes.
- Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code technology.
- Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated builds, vulnerability scanning, logging, monitoring, and DevSecOps practices.
- Preferred experience includes OCI Generative AI, OCI Generative AI Agents, OCI Data Science, OCI security services, OKE, OCIR, OCI Functions, API Gateway, LLM integrations, MCP, AI agent tools, and secured Federal or DoD systems.
- Working knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, OCI CLI, OCI SDKs, Azure DevOps, Agile or SAFe environments, and relevant OCI, Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud-security certifications is preferred.
