Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and administer on-premises and cloud Kubernetes clusters.
- Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes using command-line tools and package-management tools.
- Administer Linux servers and virtual machines, including operating-system package maintenance, networking, and disk management.
- Support containerization strategy and design while ensuring standards are met.
- Improve client environments using current cloud and container technologies.
- Support a platform that analyzes streaming cyber events, assesses compliance, integrates threat intelligence, and detects malware and anomalies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Containerd, Podman, or Kaniko.
- At least 5 years of experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, or ACA.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and administering Kubernetes clusters such as RKE2, K3S, EKS, AKS, or OpenShift.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and managing Kubernetes applications using Kubectl and Helm.
- At least 5 years of experience administering Linux servers or virtual machines.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud service providers, including AWS or Azure, and related services and tools.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, UNIX or Linux development, and bash scripting.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include at least 3 years of experience with distributed or streaming systems, programming experience including Python, and experience with Git technologies.
- Preferred skills include strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and adaptability skills.
