Base Salary

$175k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, configure, and operate enterprise IAM architecture across Okta and Auth0, including SSO, MFA, adaptive authentication, and federation.
Own non-human identity strategy for service accounts, workload identities, secrets and credential management, machine-to-machine authentication, and AI agents.
Define and enforce identity governance standards, including access reviews, privileged access management, and least-privilege models.
Architect and operate provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control, and attribute-based access control processes.
Partner with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to embed identity-first design into systems and integrations.
Evaluate and implement IAM tooling and lead identity-platform migrations or consolidations.
Establish monitoring, auditing, and identity-focused incident response practices.
Serve as the IAM subject-matter expert for audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments.

Applied experience securing human and non-human identities at organizational scale is required.
Deep hands-on architecture experience with Okta and Auth0, including custom policies, connectors, and API-driven configuration.
Experience partnering with security, infrastructure, and application teams on identity-first design.
Strong background with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
Experience with privileged access management, secrets management, and workload identity frameworks.
Working knowledge of zero-trust architecture principles applied to identity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating architecture into practical guidance.
Ability to mentor engineers on identity best practices without formal management responsibility.
Experience with AI agent governance and Okta for AI agents, including Okta Gateway, is preferred.
