Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation tools and glue code using Go and Python.
- Manage containerized application lifecycles with Kubernetes, Helm, and Jenkins.
- Automate database backups, scaling, schema migrations, and performance monitoring across SQL and NoSQL environments.
- Develop Bash and Python scripts for system hardening, patching, and incident response.
- Automate monitoring and alerting deployments for new services.
- Implement self-healing mechanisms and infrastructure scaling policies.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and automation tools using a GitOps approach.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, BCS, MCA, or MCS, or equivalent listed education.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in scripting and Python.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java; Go proficiency is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database operations and ORMs.
- Advanced shell scripting and Linux system administration knowledge.
- Experience with Bash, Perl, and AWK scripting.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of web services and database interaction through programming.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
