Responsibilities
- Lead major software engineering projects with regional, functional, or enterprise-wide impact.
- Define technical vision and engineering priorities in alignment with strategic business goals.
- Drive large features from technical design through completion and influence technical direction across the function.
- Develop and implement software development lifecycle, engineering, tooling, and integration strategies.
- Build systems that connect meeting recordings, transcripts, status materials, milestones, dependencies, and delivery data into searchable and actionable information.
- Establish clean-code standards, secure coding practices, privacy-conscious development, and software engineering best practices.
- Create metrics and influence product adoption, direction, and cross-team alignment efficiency.
- Identify production issues, develop proactive tooling, and drive sustainable response and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and influence senior engineers and represent team outputs when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of related experience, or master’s degree plus 8 years, or PhD plus 5 years.
- Specialized depth or breadth in the relevant job family, with advanced technical acumen and experience advising management.
- Experience designing and building internal engineering tools, integrations, APIs, or data pipelines across systems such as Jira, GitHub, CDET, collaboration platforms, and meeting recording or transcription services.
- Experience transforming fragmented operational data into reliable, searchable, actionable views of milestones, dependencies, and delivery status.
- Experience treating internal developer or process tooling as a product with defined users, UX standards, and adoption or impact measures.
- Experience owning cross-functional technical initiatives with engineering, product management, and program management stakeholders.
- Experience integrating with existing enterprise processes and systems rather than creating parallel information sources.
- Experience validating an approach with one team, measuring its impact, and scaling it across a broader organization.
