Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API and microservice-based solutions supporting Helix modernization and agentic architecture goals.
- Develop and test secure, maintainable APIs and backend services.
- Help decompose monolithic systems into reusable, composable components.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Contribute to data pipelines, event streaming, real-time processing, workflow automation, and intelligent decision flows.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, automation frameworks, reusable code, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product, QA, and DevOps teams on secure, performant, maintainable solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver incremental value with measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with event streaming platforms, preferably Kafka.
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and JSON/XML data exchange formats.
- Experience with Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of how systems interact through APIs and services.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to microservices, modernization projects, FinTech or payment systems, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Siebel CRM or other enterprise applications, and React, Angular, or Vue.
- Interest in AI, automation, and intelligent-agent workflow optimization.
