Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a production consumer-facing Android application.
- Build and improve platform-level architecture supporting core app features.
- Solve engineering problems while balancing speed and quality.
- Contribute to product design and direction decisions with cross-functional teammates.
- Communicate across engineering, product, and business teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mobile app development experience, including at least 2 years shipping production Android apps professionally.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a startup environment.
- Strong Kotlin expertise with hands-on Jetpack Compose and MVVM or Clean Architecture experience.
- Experience with protobufs, REST, and gRPC.
- Experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Android unit, instrumentation, and UI testing strategies.
- Experience maintaining mobile app CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated mentorship or technical leadership experience.
- Strong academic background in computer science or a related field.
- Platform-level Android development and architecture experience is a plus.
Benefits
