Base Salary
$198k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Android development for the Trust & Safety team, set technical direction, and ship features serving millions of users.
- Build abuse-reporting, privacy-control, and U18 experience features with Product, Design, backend, and iOS partners.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming while maintaining a high Android quality bar.
- Use AI tools to identify faster and smarter ways to build and ship software.
- Expand into backend and web frontend work as team scope grows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Coroutines and Room, and experience designing or consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong Android fundamentals in architecture patterns, performance, and testing, with a record of shipping features end-to-end.
- Product-focused approach and ability to solve real business problems collaboratively.
- Interest or willingness to grow into server-side and web frontend development.
