Responsibilities

  • Deliver cybersecurity strategy through software engineering and automation.
  • Implement solutions that provide visibility into on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Automate security workflows using AI agents, MCP servers, and emerging technologies.
  • Build security software and microservices for internal teams.
  • Design, build, and maintain API infrastructure integrating with multi-platform applications.
  • Support colleagues with software engineering problems and solution maintenance.
  • Propose innovative solutions to mitigate cybersecurity problems.
  • Collaborate with peers and internal customers on innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Typically 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience creating high-quality, production-grade services and enterprise-grade solutions using AWS.
  • Experience with AI coding agents and AI-assisted software development workflows.
  • Software development experience with Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Experience with modern application development frameworks and SQL, NoSQL, key-value, and data lake storage options.
  • Experience building AI-enabled security systems with tool use, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking and IT infrastructure.
  • Curiosity, passion for security, collaboration, and dedication to mature software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, contemporary risk assessment frameworks, and GRC management tools is preferred.
