Responsibilities
- Deliver cybersecurity strategy through software engineering and automation.
- Implement solutions that provide visibility into on-premises and cloud environments.
- Automate security workflows using AI agents, MCP servers, and emerging technologies.
- Build security software and microservices for internal teams.
- Design, build, and maintain API infrastructure integrating with multi-platform applications.
- Support colleagues with software engineering problems and solution maintenance.
- Propose innovative solutions to mitigate cybersecurity problems.
- Collaborate with peers and internal customers on innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience creating high-quality, production-grade services and enterprise-grade solutions using AWS.
- Experience with AI coding agents and AI-assisted software development workflows.
- Software development experience with Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience with modern application development frameworks and SQL, NoSQL, key-value, and data lake storage options.
- Experience building AI-enabled security systems with tool use, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking and IT infrastructure.
- Curiosity, passion for security, collaboration, and dedication to mature software development practices.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, contemporary risk assessment frameworks, and GRC management tools is preferred.
