Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead product security as a horizontal domain or product vertical subject-matter expert.
- Partner with product teams to incorporate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Define holistic security strategy for Google Distributed Cloud products.
- Use AI tooling to perform lifecycle reviews, research and reproduce vulnerabilities, and design secure systems.
- Review operational practices and designs, identify vulnerabilities, and provide security guidance to engineers.
- Contribute to product security reviews, AI security, security tooling, vulnerability research, and security data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
- Eight years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
- Eight years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- Three years of experience with cloud security.
- Preferred: experience building, scaling, or deploying machine learning models on enterprise AI platforms.
- Preferred: experience scaling security impact using AI-native solutions.
- Preferred: experience with static code analysis tools, hardware architecture involving GPUs or TPUs, and code automation practices.
