Responsibilities
- Build modular, reusable Android components and features.
- Optimize rendering performance for highly interactive mobile platforms.
- Improve mobile design and implementation processes to increase quality and efficiency.
- Optimize code to improve application scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product design, product management, and software engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Understand and debug large, complex codebases while producing maintainable, well-documented code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major with Android development experience.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
- Ability to understand and debug large, complex codebases.
- Strong team communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to promote robust, maintainable code and clear documentation while delivering high-quality work on a tight schedule.
- Preferred: at least five years of relevant experience in a large-scale internet business.
- Preferred: payment domain knowledge.
