Responsibilities
- Lead full engineer-driven product initiatives from inception and technical planning through shipping and scaling.
- Build and support Wise’s card product across five product teams.
- Own customer flows including card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, bill splitting, recurring payments, and dispute resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable iOS code and advocate for mobile best practices.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and globally distributed engineering teams to deliver a seamless mobile experience.
Requirements
- Deep experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing iOS applications at scale.
- Proven experience with modern iOS UI development, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
- Product-focused approach with an emphasis on customer experience, data-informed decisions, and resolving customer pain points.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional peers.
- Ability to adapt effectively when priorities change.
- Strong teamwork and a commitment to elevating other engineers through technical excellence.
