Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and improvement of complex iOS-focused software systems.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, scalable, and maintainable code in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Drive technical decisions and architecture for key features and components.
- Contribute across the full stack, including designing robust and scalable server-side APIs.
- Own multi-quarter projects through the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and implement user-facing features.
- Advocate for accessibility, internationalization, product excellence, and long-term maintainability.
- Use AI-powered development tools to improve team workflows and development speed.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience with native iOS application development, such as Swift and SwiftUI.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
- Preferred experience with the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to production.
- Preferred experience with full-stack development and large-scale system design.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and leading complex feature or application launches is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to lead and deliver complex, ambiguous projects with strong problem-solving, investigative, and technical leadership skills.
- Interest and experience using and promoting AI tools for development workflows is preferred.
