Responsibilities
- Build and maintain key surfaces within the Flutter-based Google Pay app.
- Build and own complete user flows with a focus on performance, latency, and reliability.
- Optimize performance and develop user interfaces.
- Integrate Remote Procedure Calls into the application.
- Work with Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, and AI agent prompting.
- Collaborate with Product Manager/User Experience partners to drive features end to end.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, including data structures and algorithms.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience across back-end codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Experience building systems that scale to millions of users globally.
- Preferred: Experience working effectively with Product Manager/User Experience teams.
- Preferred: Mobile app, full-stack, or back-end development experience.
