Base Salary
$176k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape the long-term architecture for full-stack systems.
- Translate high-level business goals into actionable engineering projects.
- Champion improvements in system performance and tech debt reduction.
- Establish best practices for deployment and on-call health.
- Drive alignment across product, design, and operations.
- Mentor and level up the engineers around you.
- Serve as a dependable interviewer and participant in the engineering community.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership.
- Experience developing mobile apps and guiding client-server decision making.
- Deep expertise in designing and running fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience driving technical roadmaps and managing dependencies.
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems and databases.
- Experience with public cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs effectively.
