Base Salary
$134k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development and improvement of high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.
- Support existing applications and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes.
- Design and implement solutions that improve system performance and availability.
- Design, maintain, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and backend data platforms.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, database indexing, partitioning, and performance strategies.
- Document application specifications, designs, features, and operating procedures before production rollout.
- Evaluate and recommend technology standards and new technologies for integration into the product suite.
- Collaborate with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate technical and operational issues and recommendations to engineering and business leadership.
- Execute the software development lifecycle and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Mentor and guide other engineers.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- At least 4 years of healthcare data experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with relational databases and ETL processes.
- Strong T-SQL and/or PL/SQL development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience working with large datasets and healthcare data analysis, processing, or information systems.
- Experience with Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure SQL and Azure Blob Storage.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Scala, and Apache NiFi.
- Experience with NoSQL or graph databases, preferably Neo4j or TigerGraph, including Cypher queries.
- At least 5 years of experience with MS Access, VBScript or PowerShell, and Java frameworks or the .NET Framework.
- Experience optimizing SQL and Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Proficiency with Linux environments, shell scripting, and source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools.
- Experience using AI to assist in the software development lifecycle.
- Strong critical thinking, quantitative, data interpretation, communication, learning agility, resilience, attention to detail, and integrity.
