Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy for trade lifecycle and exception management systems.
- Lead automation testing initiatives for enterprise web applications (UI, API, and backend services).
- Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks (UI and API level).
- Validate trade workflows, post-trade processing, and exception handling scenarios across systems.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation testing across SQL Server and cloud-native databases.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, data discrepancies, and production issues.
- Mentor QA engineers and enforce best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in QA/testing, with significant experience in automation.
- Strong domain expertise in capital markets, especially post-trade processing and trade exceptions.
- Hands-on experience with DTCC data and workflows (e.g., RTTM, Settlement Web).
- Strong experience testing enterprise-grade web applications (UI, APIs, microservices).
- Expertise in test automation tools/frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server (data validation, complex queries, reconciliation).
- Experience testing cloud-native applications and databases on AWS and SQL Server based applications on-prem.
- Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated testing (Jenkins, AWS pipelines, etc.).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
