Responsibilities
- Own and lead the backend architecture for embedded experiences.
- Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems and APIs.
- Partner with customers to understand workflows and validate hypotheses.
- Drive technical decisions in a high-autonomy environment.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Navigate ambiguity to define new products and technical foundations.
- Mentor engineers and enhance system design and code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in backend or backend-leaning fullstack development.
- Experience designing and building scalable, production-grade systems.
- Comfort working closely with customers and translating feedback.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, exploratory problem spaces.
- A bias toward ownership and action.
