Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of software development as a member of an agile team.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Translate requirements and use cases into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Help facilitate daily stand-ups.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java applications and a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- High proficiency in modern object-oriented software design and development.
- Knowledge of web and internet fundamentals, object-oriented programming with JavaScript, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Development experience on Linux platforms and familiarity with source control tools such as GitHub and SVN.
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as Maven and with the full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes Java Spring, Hive, Cassandra, CI/CD, and the advertising industry.
