Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology solutions.
  • Build scalable, distributed, full-stack applications across multiple technology components.
  • Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges and serve as an escalation point.
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional engineering teams, peers, colleagues, and managers.
  • Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into applications using APIs and SDKs.
  • Apply prompt design, output validation, guardrails, responsible AI practices, and operational strategies for AI-enabled features.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Strong hands-on development experience across modern technology stacks and scalable distributed applications.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Core, REST/Web APIs, Microsoft technologies, databases, asynchronous systems, event-driven systems, and messaging systems.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP and containerization technologies; Kubernetes experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, virtualization, AI/ML fundamentals, LLM usage patterns, AI application architectures, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT and integrating AI services through APIs or SDKs.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, MCA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with vector search, embeddings, and related storage options is a plus.
