Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop and implement remediation plans.
- Perform hands-on software development, including writing and reviewing code.
- Ensure cloud technologies are used efficiently and solutions meet established quality standards.
- Identify and deliver technology solutions that improve products, systems, interfaces, business processes, and performance.
- Coach, mentor, and share knowledge with other software developers.
- Determine appropriate automation and tooling approaches for build, release, and container platforms.
- Assess when solutions and code changes are ready to advance through delivery.
- Escalate technical issues and risks to the Development Manager and Team Lead when appropriate.
- Collaborate with engineers, QA, developers, business analysts, technical leads, product leadership, and development management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working on desktop applications.
- Strong software engineering or cloud infrastructure background with understanding of cloud operations and automation.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Perl, and Ansible.
- Understanding of networking and network security.
- Ability to incorporate operational quality into software delivery projects.
- Experience evaluating and implementing solutions that improve system performance and business-process efficiency.
- Experience reviewing code and solutions for development best practices.
- Experience providing coaching, mentoring, or knowledge-sharing opportunities to other developers.
- Strong understanding of development practices and standards.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
