Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans for complex frontend panels, internal systems, and integrations.
- Test full workflows from user interface through database and API layers, identifying integration issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify edge cases, business logic scenarios, and system bottlenecks.
- Lead regression, end-to-end, UI, API, database, cross-browser, and integration testing and drive defects to resolution.
- Track and report test coverage and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Own QA strategy, execution, release readiness, go/no-go decisions, and coordination with Product, Engineering, and dependent teams.
- Train and mentor junior QA engineers, trainees, and working students.
- Improve QA processes and team collaboration, including test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience testing full-stack applications across frontend UI and backend APIs.
- Hands-on frontend test automation experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium, including cross-browser testing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP protocols, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
- Proficiency in API testing and automation with Postman, Newman, Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Sentry, New Relic, and Kibana.
- Strong scripting and automation skills and experience building or optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Previous web development experience with PHP and MySQL is a nice-to-have qualification.
- Experience with visual regression or accessibility testing tools, including WCAG-related testing, is a nice-to-have qualification.
