Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated and performance tests for assigned software projects.
- Plan testing with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, QA, technical leads, and subject matter experts.
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and improve testing capabilities through tool research and implementation.
- Report test issues and results, research root causes, and document findings.
- Ensure testing covers agreed requirements, quality standards, performance, and accessibility expectations.
- Research and identify performance-issue root causes with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
- Adapt testing priorities and activities to changing business needs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, including test strategy, test-case design, defect management, risk-based testing, and acceptance-criteria coverage.
- Strong knowledge of the software development process and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience driving quality practices across functional, integration, end-to-end, non-functional, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills in complex, distributed environments.
- Strong experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing test automation frameworks.
- Experience using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript for browser-based, end-to-end, and API testing.
- Strong API test automation experience using REST Assured with Java or equivalent API-testing libraries.
