Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned software projects.
- Plan testing with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
- Report test issues and results, document findings, and research root causes.
- Ensure testing covers agreed requirements, including functional, integration, end-to-end, non-functional, performance, and accessibility requirements.
- Research and implement tools that improve testing capabilities and product quality.
- Investigate performance issues with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, test strategy, test-case design, defect management, risk-based testing, and acceptance-criteria coverage.
- Strong knowledge of the software development process and experience driving quality practices across products.
- Strong experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing test automation frameworks.
- Experience using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript for browser-based, end-to-end, and API testing.
- Strong API test automation experience using REST Assured with Java or equivalent API-testing libraries.
- Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills in complex, distributed environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
