Staff Fullstack Engineer - Simulation

Responsibilities
- Define the architectural roadmap for the Simulation Scenario Definition platform and its TypeScript/Python SDKs.
- Lead design and implementation of graphical tools for defining traffic, environment, and sensor scenarios.
- Improve Python infrastructure and core algorithms for scenario serialization, validation, and cloud-compute integration.
- Lead complex technical initiatives from concept through production.
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers and establish standards for API design, code quality, and testing.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software-development experience, including significant experience with large-scale platforms, tooling, or SDKs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical architecture and multi-quarter projects.
- Strong TypeScript frontend experience with graphical applications and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience with graphical or mapping libraries such as WebGL, Three.js, or MapboxGL.
- Expert Python proficiency, including performance optimization and robust API/SDK development.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and driving team-wide code-quality standards.
- Knowledge of 3D graphics, computational geometry, real-time simulation, DSLs, game engines, data visualization, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems is advantageous.
