Responsibilities
- Build secure and scalable systems for running synthetic tests across a global fleet of ThousandEyes agents.
- Design and improve services that schedule and execute customer-authored transaction scripts.
- Contribute to the ThousandEyes Recorder application used by customers to create tests locally.
- Implement APIs within distributed software architectures.
- Help enterprise customers assess the performance and reliability of their digital experiences.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience using Java or Go.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs in distributed software architectures.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred deep knowledge of Chromium orchestration through the Chrome DevTools Protocol.
- Preferred familiarity with container engines such as runc, crun, or podman and programmatic container lifecycle management.
- Preferred familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex or Claude.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
