Responsibilities
- Use AI agents to automate oversight, monitoring, and documentation work.
- Design human-in-the-loop checkpoints for regulatory defensibility.
- Establish model and data governance frameworks aligned with regulatory standards.
- Lead the design and development of real-time dashboards for model health monitoring.
- Set standards for threshold tuning and ongoing testing controls.
- Identify when model performance requires tuning or deprecation.
- Oversee Transaction Monitoring models and their data pipelines.
- Manage blockchain analytics and screening tools for alert quality.
- Oversee Sanctions Screening models and false-positive reduction.
- Supervise Customer Risk Scoring models and their periodic recalibration.
- Ensure AI-driven case resolution models are explainable and defensible.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in compliance technology at regulated financial institutions.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools like Claude and GPT.
- Experience with Machine Learning and Heuristic models in compliance.
- Knowledge of input data quality and model performance monitoring.
- Experience with AML model validations aligned with regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with virtual currencies and their compliance considerations.
- Experience with blockchain analytics tools like Chainalysis.
- Strong cross-functional initiative driving skills.
- Understanding of regulated financial services and compliance obligations.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts related to machine learning.
- Expertise in data analytics and visualization.
