Responsibilities
- Build and ship production React and TypeScript features for transaction and merchant risk views, score explanations, alert queues, tables, filters, and charts.
- Extend C#/.NET endpoints with new fields, filters, and endpoints while working within API contracts owned by the senior developer.
- Integrate front ends with platform APIs and handle loading, error, pagination, caching, and server-state behavior.
- Optimize large-dataset interfaces using virtualized tables, smart data fetching, memoization, and regular profiling.
- Use Claude Code or an equivalent agentic coding tool as a primary development accelerator while owning code quality.
- Write unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests and review AI-generated code before production.
- Respect PCI boundaries through masked and tokenized card data, secure sessions, and secure token handling.
- Collaborate with the client team through stand-ups, documented design decisions, clean handoffs, CI/CD, and repository conventions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial software development experience, including at least 3 years of production React and TypeScript experience.
- Experience with React hooks, state management, Vite or Next.js, and data-heavy tables, grids, and charts over large datasets.
- Working proficiency in C#/.NET, including ASP.NET Core Web API, EF Core or Dapper, and sufficient SQL to modify endpoints safely.
- Experience integrating REST APIs with typed clients and server-state libraries such as TanStack Query.
- Daily hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot Workspace, or Codex, with a live workflow demonstration.
- Testing experience with Jest or Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress, and xUnit or NUnit.
- Strong frontend fundamentals including modern CSS, accessibility and WCAG, browser performance, and web security topics such as XSS, CSP, and token handling.
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Preferred experience includes payments, card processing, risk or fraud, financial services, PCI-scoped applications, design systems, MUI, Fluent UI, Storybook, D3, advanced data visualization, LLM-backed interfaces, OAuth2/OIDC, MSAL, Microsoft Entra ID, or client-embedded consulting.
