Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications on WebLogic, JBoss, WildFly, and EAP application servers.
- Work in Linux/Unix environments and perform Bash or shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot data transformations, legacy ETL pipelines, production issues, and distributed, Linux, and mainframe systems.
- Collaborate on AWS cloud migration and cloud-native development initiatives.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance, while producing clean, maintainable, and documented code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE and WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, or EAP application server configuration and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration, commands, and Bash or shell scripting.
- Experience building or maintaining legacy Java ETL pipelines and legacy technologies.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integration.
- Experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, or IMS.
