Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Budgeting.
- Investigate client issues and requests and translate them into functional specifications, configuration changes, development requirements, or support actions.
- Develop and maintain low-to-medium complexity Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations customizations and extensions using X++.
- Support data migration, period-end close, reconciliations, patches, configuration changes, functional testing, and release-cycle activities.
- Use Azure DevOps, APIs, data connectors, workflows, custom data entities, and Azure Integration Services to resolve issues and support delivery.
- Prepare functional designs, test scripts, runbooks, support notes, release updates, knowledge articles, and stakeholder materials.
- Track incidents, ticket trends, platform issues, service outcomes, and client feedback, recommending continuous improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, triage sessions, support status meetings, functional walkthroughs, and stakeholder briefings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ERP Finance solutions, live client environments, application support, or solution delivery roles.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Finance modules, configuration, X++ development, custom data entities, workflows, Azure DevOps, and support processes.
- Experience with Finance operations, client issue resolution, functional testing, release support, service delivery, business process improvement, data migration, SIT, UAT, end-user training, and go-live activities.
- Ability to investigate configuration defects, development requirements, integration problems, performance concerns, and data-related support issues.
- Ability to create functional specifications, design documentation, test scripts, support runbooks, technical notes, release notes, and other support artifacts.
- Knowledge of D365 F&O support governance, service management, SLA commitments, ticket prioritization, knowledge management, documentation standards, and release-cycle practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business systems, finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field.
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
- Desirable certifications include Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (MB-700), Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310), and Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations (MB-300).
