Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction of the iOS application and evolve its UIKit codebase toward SwiftUI, Observation, and Swift Concurrency.
- Own complex mobile features end to end, including voice calling, real-time SMS, push notifications, and recording and playback.
- Lead Apollo iOS GraphQL client work, including asynchronous APIs, caching strategy, and reproducible code generation.
- Build iOS delivery foundations such as automated code signing, CI test gates, and TestFlight and App Store release automation.
- Improve app observability through symbolicated crash reports, structured logging, and release-health dashboards.
- Raise accessibility, localization, and privacy standards across the application.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to understand seller needs and deliver mobile solutions.
- Lead technical relationships with teams including Voice, Identity, and Android.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience and 4+ years building iOS applications in Swift.
- Expertise in UIKit and SwiftUI, including incremental migration from UIKit to SwiftUI.
- Strong command of Swift Concurrency, including async/await, actors, and @MainActor.
- Experience shipping and operating applications through the App Store, including code signing, TestFlight, App Store Connect, app review, and phased releases.
- Experience with iOS networking and authentication using GraphQL or REST clients, OAuth/OIDC, AppAuth, and Keychain.
- Experience with XCTest or Swift Testing, XCUITest, and dependency injection for testability.
- Proven senior technical leadership, including setting team direction, decomposing quarter-long projects, and delivering them.
- Experience with CallKit, PushKit, AVAudioSession, or Twilio Voice is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune App SDK and MSAL is a plus.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager modularization and fastlane is a plus.
