Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software designs.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
- Support codebase merges across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex software and distributed-system problems and troubleshoot real-time transaction platforms.
- Define coding standards and contribute to technical innovations.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Comply with company policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Experience with microservice architecture and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software and drafting coding best practices.
- Knowledge of caching technologies, DBMS technologies, and database schema design, including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling complex real-time transactions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with AWS core services, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
