Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software that meets product needs.
- Support merging code bases across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex technical problems with scalable, secure, maintainable, and impactful solutions.
- Define coding standards and contribute to technical innovations and software development best practices.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and perform other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Experience drafting coding best practices and designing highly scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including database schema design.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions.
- Experience with AWS core services, serverless approaches such as AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
