Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and engineering efforts for high-scale B2B systems.
- Design and implement reliable batch and real-time processing architectures.
- Drive database performance optimization and long-term scalability planning.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Identify and lead engineering-wide initiatives for scalability and data quality.
- Mentor and coach engineers, contributing to the engineering community.
- Contribute to modern cloud-forward architecture across product domains.
- Advocate for AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.
- Champion a culture of quality and reliability through DevOps principles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on scalable systems.
- Proven success in re-architecting complex legacy platforms.
- Strong programming experience with Ruby and Python.
- Deep understanding of relational databases and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Mastery of API design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.
- Fluency in CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
