Responsibilities
- Define customer strategy as a key member of the Stripe account team.
- Identify and close new complex opportunities while aligning with customer roadmaps.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for key business and technical stakeholders.
- Understand customer business objectives and design solutions to meet their challenges.
- Conduct business analysis and research to support user growth.
- Lead strategy engagements and secure technical wins through presentations and workshops.
- Expand Stripe's footprint within existing accounts and new markets.
- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' to provide insights to leadership and product teams.
- Participate in sales forecasting and account planning.
- Travel approximately 25% to connect with users and collaborate internally.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales.
- Experience in the payments, billing, or fintech space.
- Strong executive engagement skills and ability to build credibility.
- Effective group-facilitation skills for leading customer meetings.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for ownership and driving change.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
