Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Support QIS trading and structuring teams by resolving issues, onboarding datasets and strategies, and improving responsiveness to business requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, traders, quants, structurers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and effective unit testing.
- Guide technical direction, contribute to strategy, mentor less experienced specialists, and advise stakeholders on functional and cross-functional impacts.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls while contributing to technology communities and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Expert Python programming skills.
- Expert knowledge of equity derivatives, including futures, options, and strategies.
- Experience working with front-office users, including trading, quantitative, and structuring teams.
- Knowledge of market data usage in equities front-office systems, including Reuters and Bloomberg.
- An SRE and software quality mindset emphasizing ownership, accountability, and support.
- Desirable knowledge of derivatives pricing, including Greeks, curves, and funding.
- Desirable knowledge and experience with commodities, including futures and options.
- Desirable experience with Docker, cloud environments, and Kubernetes.
- Desirable experience with Java, Airflow, Dagster, KDB, and Oracle.
