Responsibilities
- Develop Android mobile applications hands-on.
- Build intermediate-to-advanced user interfaces, networking, and multimedia functionality.
- Work with Android APIs including location services, GCM, animations, gestures, and in-app billing.
- Develop applications for multiple screens and form factors.
- Use Java and scripting skills in application development.
- Work with web services and REST APIs.
- Deliver Android applications in production through the app store.
- Translate business objectives into actionable data analysis and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences, as stated in the conflicting data scientist section.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Android mobile application development experience.
- Intermediate-to-advanced API experience in UI, networking, and multimedia.
- Extensive knowledge of Android's resource system and development for multiple screens and form factors.
- Java development skills.
- Familiarity with web services and REST APIs.
- Strong scripting skills.
- Android applications in production in the app store.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least one year of experience working with large datasets and ten years of total professional experience, as stated in the conflicting data scientist section.
