Responsibilities
- Design and build automated test frameworks and suites for compliance systems.
- Develop end-to-end and integration tests for data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with compliance engineers and product owners to define test strategies.
- Create tooling and synthetic data generators for realistic testing scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient releases.
- Execute performance and regression testing, analyzing results for improvements.
- Own quality metrics and risk assessments to prioritize testing efforts.
- Troubleshoot defects in complex systems and lead root cause analysis.
- Mentor engineers on testing best practices and foster a culture of automated testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software quality assurance or engineering.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle and position management concepts.
- Familiarity with profit and loss fundamentals in trading.
- Experience with trading systems like Orchestrade, Murex, or Geneva.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript and associated test frameworks.
- Experience testing data-intensive systems and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with high-volume streaming data and validating workflows.
- Experience testing APIs and service integrations using REST.
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
