Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and QA software applications or operating systems.
- Apply software architecture knowledge to develop, debug, and design software according to specifications.
- Build enhancements within existing software architectures and suggest architectural improvements.
- Work independently on varied and complex software engineering tasks.
- Potentially lead projects or supervise lower-level personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Four years of experience in the offered role or a software developer-related occupation.
- Four years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience with Java, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, and RESTful API development over HTTP.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture and design.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments, Linux and Unix systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD and build/release engineering.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate full competence in the relevant area.
