Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high-impact full-stack projects.
- Build and evolve frontend applications, backend services, and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and operations teams.
- Drive system design improvements for reliability and performance.
- Modernize intake experiences by reducing manual work and improving data quality.
- Mentor engineers and enhance code quality and engineering practices.
- Manage projects from technical design through rollout and support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development in a production environment.
- Strong full-stack experience with user-facing applications and backend services.
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies like React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale web applications.
- Ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Commitment to maintainable, well-tested code and high engineering quality.
- Experience with AI/ML-powered systems is a plus.
- Curiosity for solving ambiguous, high-impact problems.
