Base Salary

$82k - $152k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement of the Technical Consulting team’s release process through automated CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment patterns.
  • Design and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools, and automate deployment, patching, and configuration processes.
  • Architect and build AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, ALB, and Lambda for consulting applications and client solutions.
  • Introduce infrastructure as code, container, and serverless patterns where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain AI-enabled workflows and automations that improve the team’s engineering and client delivery processes.
  • Support infrastructure behind billable technology consulting engagements and associated AI tools.
  • Support applications hosted in Windows Server and IIS environments and perform SQL schema changes and troubleshooting queries.
  • Monitor system health and performance with Datadog or CloudWatch and troubleshoot production and staging infrastructure issues.
  • Provide availability outside normal business hours for deployments, patching windows, or incident response.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS EC2, S3, ALB, and Lambda.
  • Regular workflow experience with AI code-generation tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or a similar tool.
  • Solid SQL skills, including schema changes and troubleshooting queries.
  • Basic to intermediate Docker experience and familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in Windows Server and IIS environments.
  • AWS certification such as SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate is preferred.
  • Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure or GCP is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining infrastructure decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and create new processes or playbooks.
