Base Salary
$115k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-level software architecture supporting vehicle integration and test operations.
- Write drivers for test instruments and ground support equipment.
- Implement automated testing at component and integrated levels.
- Refine electrical engineering specifications to validate critical flight components.
- Support development from proposal through successful test and flight.
- Implement ground control and telemetry software.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent background knowledge.
- 2–5+ years of experience in embedded systems or hardware development/testing.
- 3+ years of experience with Python or another high-level object-oriented scripting language.
- 1+ year of experience with Linux and shell command-line tools.
- 1+ year of experience with version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Hands-on experience reading schematics and datasheets and debugging circuits interfacing with embedded software using debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Web development framework and database experience is a bonus.
