Base Salary

$143k - $143k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software for phased-array radar systems, including deployment infrastructure, monitoring, real-time processing, and test infrastructure.
  • Build tests and observability tooling covering logs, metrics, and alerts.
  • Improve unit-test speed and parallelization and simplify local test execution.
  • Develop and integrate system and integration tests into automated testing pipelines.
  • Rewrite and harden radar deployment systems for robustness, speed, and reliability.
  • Maintain CI pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows for the radar software stack.
  • Build and maintain Radar team operational dashboards and data visualization tools.
  • Develop data plotting and file-writing utilities and improve configuration management.
  • Benchmark and analyze Linux system tuning for real-time radar applications.
  • Collaborate across software, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for services, tooling, and automation.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and applying software testing practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL database systems, query writing, and schema design.
  • Demonstrated experience improving developer experience through test infrastructure, local development tooling, or deployment automation.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance and required ITAR authorizations.
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms, SRE/DevOps practices, Linux system administration, performance tuning, dashboards, data visualization, and observability tooling.
  • Preferred experience tuning high-performance or real-time Linux systems, including IRQ affinity, CPU isolation, and kernel parameters.
