Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical architecture for systems serving customers’ customer support requests at scale.
- Build front-end and back-end systems across ideation, prototyping, design, and implementation.
- Balance agility, scalability, availability, reliability, and operational excellence through incremental releases and continuous deployment.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and help shape engineering strategy.
- Participate in hiring, mentoring, and career development for engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, and data analysts to deliver value to customers and users.
Requirements
- Significant demonstrated impact on products and/or engineering teams.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or Perl.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- At least 2 years of experience as the primary technical leader for a team.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers and delivering value to customers or users.
- Experience building SaaS products is preferred.
